We have a wonderful section in our garden that i really enjoy looking at. During this time of year the birds and other creatures soak in the blooms just like me. The black-eyed susan is particularly lovely with it muted oranges and dark center. Also in this part of the garden is our 'spherey," our fountain that the finches AND humming birds frequent. How cool to sit and watch the hummers sit in the water and refresh themselves with the bubbling flow!
Every once and a while, we get a little start... a quick rustle, and swish of a long tail, and yep, a wee squeal from the one that spies it first! Thankfully NOT a snake, altho Sue would love that, the kittens would NOT! but a Salamander! Hey they have to drink too!
The other place in the garden that is a bouquet of color is at the back of the yard. The wysteria was crazy purple, before its leaves came out.
More yard color to come, before the dreary summer sun crisps everything up!
